What is
Fibre Ethernet?
Fibre Ethernet is a dedicated fibre connection which runs from a your premises to the Ethernet core Exchange. Fibre Ethernet is one of the best options to go for, whether you’re a small or large company – with speeds ranging from 10Mbps up to 1Gbps. There is an option to “re-grade” the line if you need to get more speeds.
Fibre Ethernet brings reliability and dedicated bandwidth which means your connection never slows down. It is a highly secure and resilient option that’s great for businesses that need to maintain an ‘always on’ connection.
Benefits & Features:
Highly-reliable, secure and fast data connectivity
Options for services over either 100Mbps or 1Gbps circuits
Symmetric speeds from 10Mbps to 1Gbps
Scalability and flexibility that you can’t get from legacy services
Robust, end-to-end SLAs that include 6 clock hour fix time SLA
A single, accountable supplier

What is
EFM?
EFM (Ethernet in the First Mile) uses multiple copper pairs to provide affordable but reliable, high speed Internet access for businesses. Most people are familiar with ADSL broadband, which offers an Internet access over a single phone line. With EFM it uses between 2 and 8 lines, ‘Copper Pairs’, twister together to provide guaranteed symmetrical download/upload speeds and performance over traditional ADSL broadband.
EFM also offers greater resilience. If one of the Copper Pairs fails or degrades, the other pairs will pick up and continue to provide Internet access. This makes EFM significantly more reliable than ADSL.
Benefits & Features:
Lower cost option to Fibre Ethernet
Much faster delivery time then Fibre Ethernet
No compromise on quality or service levels
Inherently resilient and reliable service with 8 clock-hour break fix time

What is
FTTC Ethernet
FTTC Ethernet, or Ethernet over FTTC uses the existing copper wires, which have been used to carry fibre broadband to street cabinets, to connect to your business. Then, there’s an uncontended, dedicated Ethernet placed on top of this, transforming your connection into a high speed, hybrid solution dedicated just for you.
When this is installed, it means you don’t have to share your network with anyone else. It’s the perfect solution for businesses wanting to see what leased line connectivity has to offer.
Benefits & Features:
Fast, reliable access at a lower cost level than EFM
Symmetric speeds of up to 20Mbps with the option to purchase up to 80Mbps downstream
Faster delivery lead times than Fibre Ethernet and EFM services
Reliable service with 8 clock-hour break fix time
