Connexin is committed to holding its Connexin Live conference event annually. Last year’s Live event brought guests from more than 27 different countries into the city and included guest speakers from organisations including; Hull City Council, Cisco, Newcastle City Council, Rradar, Hull University and the CCG.
This year, Connexin plan on taking the event to a whole new level, and have partnered with the Tech Expo Humber to bring in over 5000 guests during the course of the 2-day tech extravaganza.
Furqan Alamgir Connexin CEO explains the rationale behind the decision; “Outside of London the Humber has the fastest growing digital sector in the UK. By working together, Connexin Live and Tech Expo will showcase how the Humber is beginning to emerge as the epicentre of future digital technologies.”
Confirmed event line up and speakers are set to be announced within the coming days, however the company promises that the event this year is expected to be “much larger” and will demonstrate some “key outcomes” and learnings.
Antonio Tombane, Founder of Tech Expo Humber and MD of GBIT Recruitment Limited, the organisation behind Tech Expo Humber Commented;
“We are excited that Connexin is bringing Connexin Live 2019 to Tech Expo Humber because we believe our vision and that of Connexin is the same, to put the Humber on the map for tech. Connexin Live 2018 was such a success, bringing tech companies from around the country and internationally to Hull. We enjoyed the insights and great speakers talking about smart cities and IoT. We are excited to be partnering with Connexin Live 2019 and believe this will be the biggest tech event yet and will benefit our region massively.”
