Linksys 942
Siemens C460
Snom 300, 320, 360 & 370

Note: These are generic guides, so if you are using a Siemens C475, you will be able to follow the C460 guide with no problem.

Linksys 942

STEP 1
You must first determine what IP address it received. To do this, on the phone dial pad, press the "envelope" button and then press the button under the LCD screen word "save".

STEP 2
Go to any browser equipped computer on your network and enter the address: http://<IP ADDRESS>/
(where <IP ADDRESS> is replaced by the address that was given to you in STEP 1).

STEP 3
Click on the "Admin Login" button near the top right side of the screen, then click on the "Ext 1" tab

STEP 4
You need to modify only a few parameters from the factory default. They are listed here:

SIP Port: 5060
Proxy: 85.90.225.100
Register Expires: 3600
User ID:  Enter your Connexin phone number
Password: Enter your Connexin VoIP password
Preferred Codec: G729a

STEP 5
If the 2nd extension is needed, click on Ext2 and repeat Step 4.

STEP 6
Make calls!

Siemens C460

Find the IP Address of the base station in use by selecting Menu, Settings, Base, Local Network, System Pin, IP Address. Once logged into the base unit enter 0000 for the default PIN. Click Settings Tab, followed by Telephony from the left hand menu, then select the EDIT button under IP Connection.

The following will need to be entered:

Authentication Name: Enter your Connexin phone number
Authentication Password: Enter your Connexin VoIP Password
Confirm Authentication Password: Enter your Connexin VoIP Password
Username: Enter your Connexin phone number
Domain: 85.90.225.100
Display Name: Enter Your Name Here
Proxy Server Address: 85.90.225.100
Proxy Server Port: 5060
Registrar Server: 85.90.225.100
Registrar server port: 5060

Under Network:

STUN Enabled: No
STUN Server: Please leave blank
STUN port: 3478
NAT refresh time: 20 sec
Outbound proxy mode: Always
Outbound proxy: 85.90.225.100
Outbound proxy port: 5060

Please click Set.

Snom 300, 320, 360 & 370

To configure the Snom phones on the Connexin network it is best to use the Web Config, to access this page plug the Snom in to your network and make sure you have DHCP from your router.

Most Snom phones have two network ports one to connect directly to a PC and one to connect to your Router or Switch, make sure you connect in to the correct network port. Generally it is best to connect directly to your ADSL Router.

Next press the Help button and press the button underneath the screen that says IPAdr, this will tell you the IP of the phones Web Config.

Now open your Web Browser and enter the IP address of the Snom phone.

You should now see the Snom Home page

Click on Identity 1

Enter your Login Details:

Identity Active: Yes
Display Name: Your Name
Account: Enter your Connexin phone Number
Password: Enter your Connexin VoIP Password
Registrar: 85.90.225.100
Outbound Proxy: 85.90.225.100
Authentication Username: Enter your Connexin phone Number
Mailbox: *99

Now click the SAVE button

Your Snom should now be registered on the Connexin VoIP Network.
